General Informations

Synopsis

The Century Case takes place in the Sherlock Holmes universe. The player embodies a little mouse assisting Sherlock in the different cases that he has to solve. Player will have to make his way in the darkest recesses of Whitechapel and help Sherlock to solve one of the most famous case : « Jack the rippers murders »

Main Features

Stone thrower

Stone thrower is used to activate traps
When the player presses the input, the trajectory of the projectile is displayed and the player can modify it with the right stick.
When the player releases the input trajectory disappears and the stone is thrown

AI

AI has a simple patrol constituted of a list of points, when they reach a point, they wait for a while and go to the next path point in the list.
AI has a field of view and when the player enters in it, it attacks him directly. AI can be killed by traps when the player activates them.

Traps

Traps can be used by player to kill AI, they must be activated with a stone, traps only do damage at the activation time, after that, they are useless. If the player enters in the trap area before the activation, he will takes damage.

Wall Climbing

When the player unlocks the Wall Climb power he can climb on specific walls on the map

Dialogues

When meeting an NPC he enters in a box that triggers a dialogue composed of text blocks list, the player must press A button to pass to the next text and when all texts are passed dialogue is over
