Interrogation

The player enters in interrogatory area, a transition is made for the camera. An introductory  dialogue is played and the player can choose a question among 4 propositions. Stress is a float variable set to 0 at the start of the interrogation. Each proposition has a stress value added to character stress gauge when question is choosed. After the last NPC’s answer, stress value is checked and if it is in the correct range, spawn Souls Curhser AI and fight is started.

Inventory Wheel

When the player presses the input, time dilation is reduced, the widget is added to viewport, and each frame stick the X and Y values are checked. In function of these values, the weapon picture is set. When player releases the input, time dilation is reset, the currently displayed picture is selected and current selected weapon is set as current weapon.

Souls Detector

Souls Crushers are actors that contain a specific component : this component has two float values. At the start of the game, all components of this class are listed in an array. Each frame checks the distance between the player character and each components. The closest component is taken and the distance with it, is converted into a percentage shown as gauges. If the gauge is full, the player finds Souls Crushers and fight starts.

Collect

Once a Souls crusher dies, the player character must come close to overlap it. He must maintain the interaction input for a while to capture it.
